My shift went past midnight or 4am. How are fares split?
The short answer
Each app starts a new earnings day at its own time: Uber at 4am, Bolt and DiDi at midnight. If your shift crossed that time, the form offers Enter as two amounts: before and after.
The form says, for example, “Crossed 4am — add yesterday’s + today’s total from the Uber app.” Tap Enter as two amounts, then enter the Before and After figures.
Splitting matters when you drive again later that day: the next shift then knows what was already earned after the reset. Use one amount goes back to a single figure.
Which day does the shift belong to?
Your driving day: the day you started driving. A shift from 9pm to 2am stays on the day it began.
